IBM Internship - Linux Infrastructure Specialist with german skills

IBM Client Innovation Center Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) was established in 2012 by joining several centers in Europe. The Delivery Center is part of a global network of 80 similar centers and uses the best IBM methods of work, global processes and techniques. The center has achieved CMMI Level 5 (Capability Maturity Model Integration) and its mission is to provide customers with software solution customized to their global business needs.

* Last year students/ enrolled in a Master Program / fresh graduates
* Troubleshooting Software skills in Windows/ UNIX environment
* Understanding of IT (to enable you to work with a wide range of IT systems and interfaces)
* Knowledge about scripting languages ( Shell, VBS )
* English: Advanced
* German: Medium
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as a part of a team

Nice to Have / Preferred
* Basic Knowledge about Perl, C++

* Basic Knowledge about Network (Server, Network,TCP/IP ... )

The trainee will have the possibility to be trained in specific technical areas as an Infrastructure Specialist, focused on Linux and HPC systems. He will be trained and assist the mentor in applying full ITIL Scope for Incident,Change, Release and Problem Management. The Intern will assist the mentor how to deal with daily tasks in data management problems which arise, implement changes in the productive environment, solve incidents that arise day-to-day, perform code analysis and investigation on problem tickets.
The trainee will get specific tasks during his period as an internship. On top of that at the end of each month during the internship period, there will be a discussion with him and the people in charge to check the roadmap of his internship period.

After 3 months of internship all the suitable candidates will be offered the option of a full time position in IBM
