Senior C#/.Net developer

Required skills

- Working experience with .NET /C# - at least 4 years
- Experienced in driving tasks and in project management
- Conceptual thinking skills in terms of product conception and technical solution
- Can perform an architectural analysis, make architectural decisions and document a SW architecture
- Ability to understand requirements and give feedback to them, challenge them if they seem too unrealistic
- Experience in designing and implementing components for more than 5 years
- Experience with MS technologies - .NET, C#, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, Windows
- Communication foundation - at least 2 years (at least one project)
- Understands procedural language concepts (such as exceptions, delegates, etc.)
- Good communication skills among engineers, fluent in English
- Ability to coach other developers
- Participation in architectural analysis
- Understanding of business problems
- Experience with the development of embedded devices
- Working experience with OOA/OOD, Enterprise Architect, UML

It would be a plus if you have experience with:

- Methodical experience with Scrum
- German language
- Experience with international environment
- Experience with developing financial modeling software
- Experience with TDD

The Senior C#/.NET Developer will be working in an environment that encourages evolution, continuous growth and an opportunity to deliver exciting services to the customers they have all over the world. The main project that you will be working on is a development partnership with a new customer from Switzerland, that is providing databased software for mass identification and tracking of animals and food. The methodologies are Agile and Lean that include Scrum.

Responsibilities

- Create architectures and component designs, which are leading for the further development work.
- Specify frame conditions for the complete project
- Develop code according to the quality and coding standards
- Challenge project stakeholders in order to get to clear requirements and acts as the main point of contact for the Swiss customer.
- Provide efficient code documentation
- Lead and support a team as a lead developer
- Learn and introduce the company’s methodologies to the daily development work
- Implement and design software Active participation on process improvements
- Develop enterprise level and object oriented software applications (C#/.NET)
