Data Analyst (advanced Access skills) - Finance

Responsibilities:

- Identifies and chooses appropriate methods for validating and verifying database extraction and data integrity.
- Prepares detailed recommendations for areas of focus and improvement, based on data analysis
- Documents data extraction, validation and analysis
- Maintenance of standard work documentation.
- Work with team members to scope, shape and transform business questions into analyses leading to actionable results
- Write, revise and verify standard operating procedures and other documentation for process design & evaluation, training, etc.

Qualifications:

- University degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Economics
- MS Office —Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
- Advanced Access skills
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Additional language in particular German and/or other European language
- Interested in IT-Tools and systems

Experience & Key skills

- Excellent Data Mining skills
- Previous relevant work experience in data analysis with focus on Finance
- Previous experience in a corporate environment
- Customer focused attitude with strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Accurate and reliable way of working, attention to details
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills
- Data acumen
- Entrepreneurial orientation / attitude / self-starter, able to work independently and under pressure; proactive, showing initiative
- Cultural sensitivity in order to fit into a multinational project setup
