- University Degree, preferably in an engineering or business related area.
- 3+ years of working experience in business development with record of achievement in market research, market modeling, and competitive analysis.
- Advanced English level.
- Proficient in the use of a personal computer and knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office and strong reporting and presentation skills.
- Knowledge and/or experience in using data base is a plus.

- Design, manage, and deliver client analyses, such as customer profiling, segmentation studies, predictive analytics support, post-program measurement, and other ad-hoc projects.
- Provide analytic and project support for strategic, commercial and sales recommendations on best opportunities for Therm-O-Disc Europe.
- Develop best-in-class analytic deliverables, presenting them to internal team members.
- Conduct research about EMEA economic and market trends, applications and competition to inform strategic (and new) product planning.
- Attend industry conferences, events, trade shows, customer’s visits, as directed by the Business Development Manager.
- Work with team members to scope, shape and transform business questions into analyses leading to actionable results.
- Support preparation for division or corporate-level presentations related to periodic reporting requirements, new product and business development, etc.
- Landscape opportunities across EMEA for temperature-, Wireless sensors and Core business.
- Assists The Business Development Managers with all aspects of New Product Launch processes. Activities include creating templates and completing product backgrounders.
- Support with pricing evaluations, by analysing market and competitor pricing for key products and market segments which may impact product revenue and profitability.
- Build and maintain market and revenue models in support of corporate reporting, strategic marketing, commercial marketing and sales support, and new product planning.
- Evaluate the productivity and profitability of marketing campaigns and assess improvement opportunities.

The Business Development Analyst works with the Business Development Manager to research, map, and analyze all relevant business and market metrics and developments. The Business Development Analyst develops reports, tools and databases to support the decision making for Therm-O-Disc Europe’s business. The Business Development Analyst operates under general or minimum supervision, and performs duties with broad latitude for judgment.
