- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience required;
- Citrix, VMware and Windows 2003/2008 or equivalent certification preferred;
- 3+ years of experience in Windows 2003/2008 required;
- 3+ years of VMWare ESX 3 or higher experience desired;
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic environment;
- Active Directory experience is a plus;
- Familiarity with MOM/SCOM, LANDesk and Symantec Endpoint is a plus;
- Very good English skills.

- Provide technical support and documentation for over 3000+ Windows physical and virtual (VMWARE ESX) and Citrix XenApp systems;
- Support VMWare environment including all aspects of server administration and host environment;
- Support x86 Blade and rack mount servers. Install/Troubleshoot/Replace hardware or firmware as necessary;
- Work with users to troubleshoot and solve operational issues. Responsible for coordinating recovery in the event of system failure;
- Maintain Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and all components/services including AD, DNS, NTFS, DHCP, PRINT SERVICES, FTP, TCP/IP, Citrix and others;
- Provide operating system level support to application developers and performing server migrations and on-boarding;
- Responsible for maintaining and deploying security patches to the server environment by following standard patching methodology;
- Provide tuning, troubleshooting and analysis;
- Monitor system logs, activity and performance on all servers daily;
- Administer, verify, and restore backups as necessary;
- Work with other ITSS groups, Division leads, consultants and other stakeholders to develop, test, and maintain procedures for Disaster Recovery (DR);
- Research new technologies and present recommendations/justifications on hardware and software purchases;
- Follow Emerson Standards, Processes and Procedures, and Change Management policies.
