The Chassis & Safety Division develops and produces electronic and hydraulic brake and chassis control systems, sensors, driver assistance systems, air bag control systems, washer systems and electronic air suspension systems. Its core competence is the integration of active and passive driving safety into ContiGuard®.

While Passive Safety systems become more and more affordable, the software component has to provide appropriate solution to continuously increasing technical challenges. Within Passive Safety global footprint, our R&D location plays a highly important role. With the contribution of all disciplines, including Software, we develop complete products starting from the idea until production launch. In this context we are looking for experienced Software Engineers who are interested to join our team. As a specialist, you will cover the complete software development process i.e.
* Participation in software requirements engineering
* SW Project management
* Contribution to architecture and design
* Software development in C language for 16/32 bit microcontrollers
* Integration activities
* Software testing on hardware platforms and you will guide others in order to implement the SW product. For the beginning, you will get support in order to stepwise familiarize yourself with our products, tools, processes and organization. We will help you to smoothly apply your engineering knowledge and experience in the demanding automotive field.

University Degree (e.g. Computers, Automation, Electronics, Informatics); At least 3 years experience in Software engineering for embedded systems; Very good knowledge in C; Knowledge in Battery Sensors is a plus; Good knowledge of electronics, embedded systems and microcontrollers; Good networking skills with other departments (HW, Mechanical, Production); Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
