Embedded Software Developer - AST&CES (TSR)

The Chassis & Safety Division develops and produces electronic and hydraulic brake and chassis control systems, sensors, driver assistance systems, air bag control systems, washer systems and electronic air suspension systems. Its core competence is the integration of active and passive driving safety into ContiGuard®.

For our Engineering location in Timisoara, we search for an experienced Embedded Software Developer to join our CES Interior group. Main field of activity of CES Interior group is:
* Instrumentation and Display product development (Instrument Clusters, Head-up Displays);
* Telematics;
* Climatisation and Haptic Controls;
* Comfort Electronics. Responsibilities:
* Develop software products, according to customer SW requirements, at the requested quality level (according to the department and project guidelines and methodology);
* Create the design & implement the assigned SW module and prepare the module tests;
* Update documentation. The tools used are C development environment, debuggers, communication bus simulation (CANoe). A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.

* University degree (e.g. Computer Science, Informatics, Electronics);
* At least 2 years working experience in embedded C programming;
* Experience in working with microcontrollers;
* CAN protocol knowledge;
* Linux knowledge would be a plus;
* Ability to analyze and syntheses a software solution;
* Advanced English - speaking and writing level;
* Initiative and result orientation.
