Senior Software Engineer – Client Platform, relocation in Dublin or Vancouver required

A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent program
-C++ software development experience (8+ years) in a professional environment with proficiency in
-Socket / network programming
-Multi-threading and concurrency
-Internet protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP)
-Excellent knowledge of linux/unix
-Cross-platform development
-Modern encryption and software security
-Experience developing software for video games, especially online and multiplayer features on Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, and PC platforms
-A compulsion to test and automate
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and is able to work well with highly-technical game studio developers

- Working closely with game studios to make sure the clients libraries integrate nicely into their game engine (including 3-4 weeks per year of on-site support at game studios in the US, Canada, UK, and China)
-Maintaining our client libraries for integrating with all 1st-party platforms, including Xbox Live, PSN, Steam, Apple, and other mobile and web platforms
-Designing and developing future iterations of our client libraries in collaboration with our service development teams
-Evaluating and implementing new technologies into our client libraries
-Helping with the creation and policing of development standards for client-side code.
-Helping build a test framework to support automated testing across all platforms we support
