Student /Junior Linux System Administrator

-Student at Computer Science University or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or experience as a systems administrator in a public-facing web environment.
-Knowledge of some aspects of Linux (Red Hat preferred) systems administration;
-Knowledge provisioning and maintaining web servers (Apache, Nginx);
-Good Understanding of visualization and load balancing;
-Proven working experience in a similar position is a plus.

-Supports senior staff on responses to outages and alerts quickly to ensure the public availability of our web sites;
-Work from a ticket queue to resolve requests and problems across production, staging, and development environments;
-Learns and Implement systems administration and management best practices surrounding monitoring, configuration management, backups, application deployment automation, etc;
-Learns and implement scalable server and site architecture with input from Operations team and management;
-Supports senior staff with the installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, maintenance and troubleshooting of server hardware, operating systems, storage, software and utilities in a large enterprise environment;
