    Lead with us as our Record to Report (RTR) Manager, developing a highly motivated and agile RTR team to support a service oriented culture; to make the Company Service Center a Career destination of choice.

    WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
    At Company’s, we emphasise on recruiting the best people to help grow our business and build on our success. To be considered for this position, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
    Required Education and Experience
     University Degree or equivalent required, preferably in Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
     Language Skills: English (Required); Second Language (Preferred)
     Recognized Accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
     Must have deep/broad experience in all areas of general accounting
     Previous managerial experience, functional delivery/project experience, or outsourcing management experience
     Expertise in Record to Report function including best practices, technologies, processes, procedures and tools
     Experience working in a shared services, process driven or service center environment
     Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP and Hyperion
     Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Access and deep Excel skills

    Preferred Criteria
     Graduate-Level University Degree in Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
     Training and certification in Six Sigma or LEAN, or similar quality management experience
     Supervised managers of multifunctional or global teams in the past and ideally worked in an operations environment
     Experience working for a multinational organization and working with colleagues internationally
     Processed and Packaged foods industry experience

    Responsabilitati

    WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
    As our Report to Report Manager, you will be part of our success by:
    Leadership
     Acting responsible for leading a team of finance professionals and managing outsourcing partner to ensure overall delivery of services to EU Business are within agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
     Motivating employees to create a winning culture and consistently deliver results
     Solving problems collaboratively
     Acting decisively and engaging effectively with key stakeholders in a manner that generates buy-in/excitement for GBS
     Developing leaders at all levels and support career growth for GBS team members

    Customers
     Leading with a strong service delivery focus while managing execution between back office and front office European RTR roles
     Partnering effectively with external customers and internal sales organization with focus on increased value and benefit realization
     Ensuring that the RTR team meets service levels outlined in SLAs and work with the BPO provider to ensure that KPIs are delivered seamlessly
     Ensuring that Customer issues are dealt with in accordance with the escalation process and push back where this is not the case
     Carrying out calls/ meetings with customers as detailed in SLAs and drive to keep customer satisfaction aligned with the SLAs
     Working with the GBS Service Management Lead and Functional Leads to ensure that all engagements with the customer are aligned, understood and that Customer needs are being documented and prioritized for action
     Executing transactions as needed to manage customer requests and overall team workload

    People
     Owning demand management and staffing for the European RTR transactional processing and reporting (e.g., GL Accounting, Fixed Assets Accounting, Intercompany Accounting, Management Reporting, Financial and Regulatory Reporting, Intercompany and Transfer Pricing)
     Providing leadership and guidance to the RTR team
     Ensuring that all targets are SMART, aligned with GBS targets and are derived through collaboratively working with the RTR team
     Maintain a robust talent recruitment is in place to ensure that the Company Service Center is competitive in the market and recruits the best/most appropriate talent
     Acting responsible for a strong people agenda and carrying out people management activities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws, including:
    • Planning, assigning and directing work
    • Appraising performance, providing feedback and coaching, and rewarding and disciplining employees
    • Providing opportunities for learning and self-development, and facilitating the development of technical competencies
    • Continuously striving to build a culture of high-performance


    Operations
     Achieving and sustaining best practices in effectiveness and efficiency in service delivery
     Acting responsible for ensuring that RTR deliverables meet or exceed quality levels and are delivered within a strong internal control framework
     Ensuring consistent application and adherence of all Company RTR policies, including GAAP, SOX, corporate tax structure (i.e., ROUPEE), and audit requirements as well as adhere to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
     Ensuring timely processing of all financial transactions and work with the BPO provider to ensure that service levels are met or exceeded:
     Ensuring that the month end is closed on time, that assets are capitalized as they go live and that depreciation is correctly charged, and that Intercompany balances are reconciled on time
     Ensuring a thorough risk-based approach to reconciliations by ensuring that aged items are followed up and action plans are put into place, that reconciliations are performed to agreed timelines and issues are escalated appropriately
     Acting as a point of escalation within the RTR process for critical/complex service issues
     Participating in GBS governance processes, meetings and reviews

    Innovation
     Creating a mindset of innovation to drive business value
     Acting responsible for implementing and driving continuous improvement mindset both at the tactical level by applying operational excellence methodologies (LEAN or Six Sigma) and by working with the Global Process Owner on strategic initiatives to improve the end to end RTR process
     Driving for year-over-year improvements to process efficiency and quality, as well as control KPIs

    Financial Delivery
     Creating a culture of financial discipline and operational excellence
     Ensuring that the RTR team budget is met and continuously drive towards savings
     Breaking down the GBS Financial Metrics to make them applicable to and drivable by the team

    Other responsibilities as assigned by GBS Leadership
