IBM Internship - Assessment Center 24th of September

IBM Client Innovation Center Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) was established in 2012 by joining several centers in Europe. The Delivery Center is part of a global network of 80 similar centers and uses the best IBM methods of work, global processes and techniques. The center has achieved CMMI Level 5 (Capability Maturity Model Integration) and its mission is to provide customers with software solution customized to their global business needs.

The work you undertake during your internship is valued and you'll be given worthwhile, exciting things to do on real projects. This means you can grow your knowledge and develop yourself.

• Last year student/ Fresh graduate
• Basic technical skills (PLSql, Java, UNIX, C#, OOP, PHP)
• English: Fluent 
• German or French: intermediate or fluent
• Good inter-personal skills and ability to work in team and alone
• Strong analytic and problem solving skills

Activities during the paid internship:
• Training regarding IBM as a corporation and IBM Romania - departments & activities;
• Soft skills training for certain abilities - communication, team work, planning & organizing, presentation skills, client consulting;
• Sessions regarding hardware, software and services depending on your interest and knowledge;
• Tasks in frame of a development project on which you will work together with the senior team members and other interns, sharing information and knowledge;
• Personalized learning and development.


During the internship you will assist our senior developers and support engineers.

After 3 months of internship all the suitable candidates will be offered the option of a full time position in IBM.

You can be part of the IBM team after a very interesting Assessment Center on the 9th or 11th of September. Why an Assessment Center? Because it gives you the opportunity to express yourself in a stress-less atmosphere, as an individual and as part of a team.

We will take the time to know the real you and after the Assessment Center, we will provide you with professional feedback!

Assessment Center agenda (duration 6-7 hours with breaks):

• short personal presentation
• team work and creativity exercises
• communication exercise
• technical written tests (PLSQL plus at your choice: Java, PHP, C#/.Net)
• foreign language written tests (French or German)
