Software Delivery Manager

Requirements:

• 7+ years of overall IT / software development experience
• Experience implementing fault-tolerant / load-balancing solutions
• Good knowledge of Core Java (dev experience, frameworks, multi-threading)
• Solid Oracle knowledge (SQL, PL/SQL)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Structured approach in work
• Upper intermediate English — both verbal and written

Experience / Requirements (Recommended)

• Strong background in financial domain, preferably in Foreign Exchange
• Algorithmic experience (programming languages, complex SQL, shell scripting, perl etc.) is a plus
• Average user-level Unix experience is a plus
• Academic background from a top tier university
• Fluent English — both verbal and written

They are currently looking for a Software Delivery Manager that will coordinate a 16 persons team, that will work on Deutsche Bank's "Autobahn" (or ABFX) electronic trading platform - the largest foreign exchange e-trading platform in the world. Developed in DB's global Technology Centers, the Autobahn platform is under continuous improvement, always being upgraded to stay ahead of the technology curve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for local team's deliveries
• Supervise the design and architecture for newly created components
• Contribute to the definition of the future state of the system architecture
• Be an escalation point for technical issues related to deliveries
• Working with BAs on functional and non-functional requirements, technical analysis and design
• Provide mentoring and coaching for team members
• Ownership for all general local activities and issues
• Be responsible for local processes e.g. local Level 3 Support
