Basic knowledge of Java Core.
Understanding of OOP/OOD.
Base knowledge of Java EE.
GWT as a plus.
Basic understanding of SDLC.
Knowledge of basic algorithms, knowledge of algorithm complexity estimation.
Fundamentals of Theory of relational databases, basic mastering of SQL.
Understanding of XML basics.
Familiar with HTML and other web-related technologies.
Basic UML knowledge.

High motivation and orientation for getting experience to grow to middle level at the quick time.
Technical background or diploma with IT specialization.

Project Description:
Our client is a big European investment bank. Innovative Platform for Index Research and Execution. A stock market index is calculated from a group of stocks and represents a specified segment of the market, a well-known example is Standard & Poor's 500 or Dow Jones.
There are more than 10 thousands indices and more than 2 TB of data in the system, which include both original and calculated values, updated daily. Index values are calculated by complex mathematical models, which are defined by MatLab and R tools integrated into the platform. The system uses cloud technology to calculate index data, as well as Hadoop / NoSQL for efficient processing of big data volume. The developed platform also includes Rich-UI tools to be developed in GWT/HTML5 which allow to create and test new indexes, manage daily calculation process, import / export of data and publication of results.
