    Requirements

    - Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the sourcing of direct products and services;
    - Bachelor’s degree in technical field or equivalent work experience (able to read mechanical drawings); Six Sigma knowledge is an advantage;
    - SAP work experience minimum 1 year.
    - Proven experience in supplier negotiations.
    - English is mandatory, one other language is a plus
    - Excellent communication skills
    - Comfortable dealing with peers and suppliers

    Responsibilities

    - Works closely with the Regional Prototype Purchasing Manager to develop and effectively executes the prototype sourcing strategies
    - Ensures the conformity of operational prototype procurement processes to Honeywell’s policies and SB strategy
    - Initiates the purchasing process in SAP based on the internal requests (DA/Preq), by creating RFQs to identify the best suited supplier (TCO: cost, lead time, quality, transportation & customs duties) and negotiates the most advantageous conditions for the project
    - Places the Purchase Orders (PO) in SAP for all plants in scope and coordinates regular (weekly) global delivery follow-up meetings with the suppliers in her/his portfolio
    - Follows-up the transportation lead time and cost
    - Ensures the reception of tooling’s pictures and affidavit before payment. Updates the tooling database with the required information.
    - Initiates the internal and external corrective actions with respect to suppliers’ activity
    - Inputs daily and follows-up the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for her/his activity
    - Actively participates in the New Supplier Approval, Supplier Development and Supplier Performance Management processes
    - Participates in cross-functional process improvement teams
    - Owns the proto capacity follow-up with the supply base in scope and creates “recovery plans” for any delivery deviations due to capacity availability
    - Consolidates and escalates any supplier delivery issues to the Regional Purchasing Manager
    - Coordinates with the proto shop planning teams and the requestors the delivery prioritization and the technical problems raised by suppliers
    - Makes sure the supplier has all the required documents (PO, drawings, quality requirements etc) to start producing the goods in the quoted lead time
    - Manages the inventory of the parts provided to supplier by Honeywell
    - Coordinates the reconciliation of suppliers’ deliveries and invoicing
    - Participates in the planning, development and implementation of methods and procedures for enhancing operational efficiency
