Commercial Manager (F&A)

Former Xerox Customer Care Services, as well as other former Xerox Services companies, will continue its activities as Conduent, Inc. •Knowledge and experience of ‘financial business partnering’;
•Expertise and or knowledge in outsourcing contract management and business case evaluation;
•Experience of Internal Controls Management;
•Awareness of regulatory environment, company law and accounting standards;
•Knowledge of best practice processes;
•An understanding of general European accounting standards;
•Expertise in the development and use of financial systems and MS Excel;
•Competent in cost accountancy, financial analysis and assessment;
•Competent in interpretation of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements;
•Systems and IT literate;
•University degree and professional qualifications (e.g. CIMA or equivalent).

PURPOSE OF ROLE

•Provision of operational business, commercial and financial management support to Commercial Director and XSE lines of business;
•Support and governance for scoping, assessment and commercial analysis of Business units and contracts within all XSE business groups;
•Improving business and financial performance of contracts and business groups through co-ordination of key activities;
•Responsibility for accurate management data and analysis identifying areas that require improved control;
•Internal controls co-ordination.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

•Works in partnership with XSE management to drive and achieve business goals as well as financial objectives in line with the company strategy of revenue growth, improving profitability and cash flow;
•Supports the XSE Senior Leadership team in the achievement of continuous and demonstrable improvement of productivity resulting in increased cost effectiveness and value;
•Contributes to change projects - including the preparation of reports and ownership of Management Information;
•Supports commercial reviews together with the XSE Commercial Director and Business Groups ensuring that actions are completed and continuous improvement is achieved for projects;
•Identifies, monitors and interprets business performance improvements. Identifies areas of performance shortfall within relevant area and makes recommendations for improvement;
•Manages and co-ordinates the Internal Controls Process for XSE;
•Uses best-practice knowledge to input to, formulate and generate ideas for improving Internal Controls and improving Financial Performance.
