    Requirements

    Technical education / Bachelor degree or equivalent
    Relevant experience in Procurement, including significant period in a relevant sourcing related capacity (i.e. strategic sourcing).
    Experience in a project environment would be helpful.
    Good understanding of and a proven track record in managing key elements of category management processes in Service, or a supply chain environment with similar characteristics, e.g. Indirect Spend.
    Experience with SAP, Oracle or similar procurement systems would be beneficial.
    Proven track record that includes working collaboratively with supply teams and Engineering/Technical individuals and external suppliers.
    Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook
    An excellent proficiency in both written and verbal English is absolutely vital in this role.

    Responsibilities

    1. First Line of contact and Supply Chain Support for UK Service (CORE)
    Telephone and email contact for day to day supply chain issues for the UK service team and suppliers,
    Advice on preferred and approved suppliers and pricing.
    Questions from suppliers
    Late delivery resolution
    Escalating financial problems to the India based finance/expediting teams and assisting with any suppliers on stop.
    Support the delivery of formal category and supplier strategy for subcontractors.
    Support the service business by identifying opportunities for ad hoc price negotiation, payment term improvement, and other delivery-related terms with suppliers, either directly or with the support of the UK based Service SCM’s.
    Build strong supplier relationships and understanding of assigned category
    Work with the districts to maximize savings achieved during negotiation in accordance with standard Honeywell policy.
    2. Sourcing (CORE)
    Ensure new suppliers meet business requirements; qualify in accordance with standard Honeywell policies.
    Ad Hoc Sourcing -Identifying suppliers and pricing for one off requirements. Negotiate best price.
    Increasing competitive tendering - Initiating requests for quotations (RFQ), obtaining three prices for one off or lower volume sub contract/service materials with higher value and/or multiple suppliers identifying cost savings.
    E sourcing- Increasing use of eSourcing tools, utilising for non strategic purchases and lower value/risk categories.
    Planning of sourcing opportunities - Produce Service Contract renewal calendar, with details of third party spend.
    Service Renewals - Analysing suppliers and prices for Service Renewals (with low to medium 3rd party spend, delegated by SCM) to ensure maximum use of preferred suppliers and competitive pricing.
    Renewals/Scope increases & service projects - Assisting SCM & Service estimators in pricing new Service.
    Maintenance & Project opportunities and service contract scope extensions.
    Sourcing Plans - Assisting with the preparation of sourcing plans for Service eCAPs.
    Supply Chain Savings – Tracking Ad Hoc and Long Term Agreement savings.
    3. Performance & compliance (non core)
    Throughout the performance period, communicate regularly with stakeholders on supplier performance, and take action when necessary to remedy unsatisfactory performance (support claim preparation/ resolution) in accordance with terms and conditions.
    4. Supply Chain initiatives (non core)
    Support Service Category Managers on larger service initiatives, including Service projects.
    Support implementation of Common Process/Systems, and other supply chain initiatives as required.
