Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

-ITIL knowledge;
-Understanding of IT-Service Management (example ISO20000);
-Basic understanding of SOX regulations;
-Basic understanding of security regulations.

Other requirements

-Configure and maintain the Hitachi Storage platforms supporting AMS, HUS, USP, USP-V and VSP;
-Configure and maintain the EMC Storage platforms supporting Clariion, VNX, Symmetrix, VMAX and SAN switches (CISCO, Brocade (McData) );
-Translate customer storage needs into an IT infrastructure design according to the Vodafone storage strategy;
-Perform the necessary delivery tasks on block storage and SAN devices.

-Responsible for the planning and provisioning of all block storage devices, SAN switches during the feasibility and delivery phase;
-Deep knowledge of the implemented hard and software components;
-High skilled in block storage and switch technologies;
-Have a good understanding of the used hardware and software interfaces;
-Have good knowledge in cluster and storage virtualization technologies.
