Platform Tools Manager ( Vodafone Romania )

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

-Deep knowledge of automated Installation and operation of UNIX based server Systems (Solaris, Linux and BSD). Experience in Windows systems operations and installations;
-Strong IT/ Application Operating background and experience in working with complex technology within large virtualized environments;
-Good knowledge in deployment, configuration and operations of tools used in the software lifecycle (development, build, test, integration etc.);
-Knowledge of software development lifecycle and software lifecycle management.


Other requirements

-Problem solving skills, vender and supplier management, deep understanding of Vodafone people, process and technology;
-Fluency in English.

-Plan and schedule deployment deliverables, goals and milestones;
-Interface with the Supplier to align deployment plans with Supplier activities;
-Responsible for prop er operation in terms of configuration, changes, implementation and rollout
-Interface to the Service Desk;
-Accountable for incident, problem, service request management, implementation of workarounds/changes and reporting for all tools;
- for service optimizations and improvements for the tools in scope;
-Understanding of Vodafone SDLC and Application Operations processes in order to be able to develop, deploy and operate the best tools.
