Comfortable with PHP, OOP and MySQL databases
Hands-on experience with PHP on college, personal or professional projects
Student in final year of study or fresh graduates of a Computer Science related faculty

5 days per week / 8 hours per day / 10:00-19:00 with one hour lunch break
3 months (July 2014-September 2014)

We are going to cover theoretical Magento topics accompanied by lab work and individual practice. You’re going to learn how to deal with the complex Magento architecture covering themes like: the core OOP framework, events and observers, widgets, payment methods, sales and performance related tweaks like caching.

The remainder of the internship will be on-the-job training, in an exciting working environment, within a competitive and professional team, under the guidance of a mentor, working on real life projects for clients like Macy’s, Puma, Walmart, Pfizer.

At the end, you’re going to be able to build complex Magento based e-commerce applications, going from customizing a catalog to performance optimizations.
