Senior Storage Administrator

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

• ITIL knowledge.
• Understanding of IT-Service Management (example ISO20000).
• Deep understanding of SOX regulations.
• Deep understanding of security regulations.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• EMC VMAX and VNX knowledge.
• EMC Celerra knowledge.
• Cisco SAN MDS Switch and Brocade SAN Switch knowledge.
• EMC DataDomain backup knowledge.
• EMC DataDomain backup knowledge.
• HDS VSP,USP-V AMS and HUS.

For one of our clients, one of the market leaders in the implementation of telecom infrastructures and one of the most experienced network developers with a history which starts back in the late 40’s, we are looking for a Senior Storage Administrator with English.

Role Purpose:

• Lead in professional competence and give direction in developing the teams expertise, he/she provides and operates IT Storage infrastructure services for various applications and customers, constantly monitor and stabilize the running Storage infrastructure managing incidents and problems in time to fulfill the SLA and report feedback to the Storage manager.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Maintain the Storage environments which support our client’s key business applications like customer care, billing, e-commerce, SAP, consumer, enterprise and cloud solutions.
• Provide best customer experience on service performance due to regular system reviews and pro-active performance and resilience improvements.
• Perform trouble shooting and problem analysis leading to fault resolution. Identify root cause and provide customer feedback through appropriate channels.
• Engage with the vendors to resolve issues on Storage systems.
• Assure >99.8 availability of Storage systems and provide proper support to keep service stable and within the SLA.
