You can be their new colleague if you have:

- BS/MS degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject;
- Minimum 3 years of experience from which one year in a significant Scrum or other agile implementation project;
- 3+ years of experience in large software delivery projects in the above mentioned position;
- 2+ years of managing an international team (20+ employees). Ability to work as a team leader, adapt to change and take on new responsibilities;
- Driven and self-motivated with the ability to work independently & deliver under pressure;
- Results oriented and focused on meeting deliverable timelines;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Visio; basic knowledge of Java and Oracle;
- Excellent knowledge of process & project management;
- Experience with test-driven development;
- Experience in custom built software;
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical people;
- Ability to understand different industries businesses and to map business processes - Knowledge of merging functional and technical architecture views;

Our client is one of the leading debt collection companies in Romania, their core business areas being debt collection and debt purchase. They are part of a larger group of companies spread around Europe and so they have their own IT Services provider within the group, who assists companies with their core business, with HQ in Hamburg.

At the moment, the IT Service provider wants to create / develop a new core system, that will be later used in Eastern Europe, and this is why they are currently creating a large development team in Bucharest that will include Screen Designers, Java Developers, Quality Engineers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, a Java Architect, a Project Manager and a SCRUM Master.

As a Project Manager for software development, you will have the following main responsibilities:

- Key point of contact for both external and internal stakeholders during the implementation process. This includes project milestones, the estimated timeline, and the specific deliverables for each member of the Implementation Team.
- Work collaboratively with the product and software architect, software development team as well as the business requirements team.
- Tailor project management, software development processes to meet the needs of the project.
- Responsible for aligning software development processes with corresponding company guidelines.
- Creating a project plan in conjunction with the training, software development, rollout and data migration managers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Responsible for delivery of software according to plan and budget as well as migration and rollout.
- Responsible for meeting the company guidelines regarding technical software delivery incl. Definition of Done.
- Ensure quality of developed Software.
- Responsible for overall Sprint Planning.
- Responsible to fill product backlog in alignment with product owners.
- Capacity and resource planning within the corresponding teams.
- Keeping all team members informed of deliverables, expectations, and any changes to the original implementation plan; as well as tracking the overall progress of the implementation.
- Diagnosing and solving problems as they arise during the implementation process.
- Actively driving the implementation process through communication, organization, and client management.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.
