- BS/BA in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience in software development tasks.
- 3+ years experience in C++, Unix knowledge.
- Object-oriented concepts and design patterns knowledge
- Working knowledge of division/department life cycle methodologies.
- Ability to fix almost any customer-reported problem within their sphere of knowledge with little or no assistance.
- Generally requires assistance with problems when complex design issues or tradeoffs are involved.
- Exhibits good technical judgment when designing software.
- Previous experience in designing and implementing systems with a focus on scalability and high-availability preferred.

- Responsible for developing, testing and delivering high quality software/solutions.

- Creates and reviews product/project deliverables according to the life cycle methodologies (i.e., impact assessments, external and internal specifications, manuals, education material, etc.).

- Researches and resolves customer reported problems.

- Maintains working knowledge of the hardware platform, network and application layers.

- Manages the software dependencies for use in implementing proper solutions.

- Exhibits good technical and business judgment and thorough understanding of how customers use the product when dealing with product requirements, complex design issues, and tradeoffs.
