PCB LAYOUT ENGINEER (TIMISOARA)

3+ years of experience in PCB design (automotive preferred); common tools: DxDesigner, Expedition PCB, Orcad Capture, Orcad PCB Editor
Strong general electronics knowledge (particularly in embedded design: analog and digital circuits, power supplies, measurement equipment)
Understanding of automotive hardware development lifecycle
Ability to read/create PCB, electronic assembly drawings and to read mechanical drawings
Fluent in English
Experience with instrument clusters or high current devices is a plus

Combine various mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, net lists and guidelines as inputs for developing PCB state-of-the-art layouts for various automotive products (instrument clusters, high curent/high power junction boxes, etc)
Design PCB layouts on time and achieving automotiev quality standrads
Abide by established company methodology standards, procedures and best practices for developing and documenting high quality PCB designs and products which conform also to customer quality standards.?
Create and manage component, symbols and footprint libraries
Create full documentation package for PCB fabrication and for PCB assembly
Collaborate with other engineers on the design team to achieve optimum performance and meet project development schedules and cost targets
