We need expertise in the following key areas:

• Java EE (Web Services, Security, Transactions);
• Experience with Web services, XML, XSD, XSLT, SoapUI;
• Experience with versioning tools (Git, SVN);
• Experience with build tools (Gradle, Maven);
• Able to work with continuous integration and agile principles such as unit testing;
• Use of UML and Object Oriented design methodologies;
• Ability to commit to projects;
• Proactive, fast learner, motivated and dependable, understands responsibility, and works well within a team;
• Fluency level knowledge of the English language.

What will your role be?

• Become involved in the development of a unique banking and transactions software solution, designed specifically for one of the financial sector’s international market leaders;
• Participate in the analysis and design phases for building components of larger systems;
• Responsible for developing the application web services and components, program specifications or prototypes;
• Responsible for the unit testing of your own work and also for peer-to-peer testing;
• Acquiring a proper understanding of a problem or situation by breaking it down systematically into its component parts and identifying the relationships between these parts, selecting the appropriate method/tool to resolve the problem and reflecting on the result.
