SQL Server Database Administrator

- University degree in computer science;
- 1 or 2 years of general experience in database administration;
- 1 or 2 years of experience as SQL Server DBA on large scale environment;
- Experience in SQL Server 2005 and 2008-R2 administration with 24/7 production environment;
- SQL programming: T-SQL (stored procedures, triggers, views, etc) and SQL tuning experience.

Nice to have:

- Experience with reporting tools and with ETL tools (like Informatica PowerCenter);
- Fast learning and a great motivation to learn;
- Well organized person;
- Self-motivated;
- French/English (spoken and written);
- Great sense of initiative and resourcefulness
- Will to pro-actively bring suggestions relatively to development or processes improvement, procedures, tools and documents related to exploitation
- Great communicator.

- Sql Server installation and configuration;
- Change database instance parameters, database security rules;
- Monitor SQL jobs and solve issues in development, integration, preproduction and production environments;
- Help the development team with complex queries, optimizations, debugging
- Solve incidents assigned to the DBA group;
- Check servers in alert stage (like low disk space) and take appropriate actions.
