Sales & Product Manager - NIR/Raman Spectroscopy & Electrochemistry

♦ Candidates must possess minimum a Master Degree in science, preferably in the field of physical chemistry and/or electrochemistry, and practical experience of analytical analysis
♦ Fundamental understanding and training in the field of molecular spectroscopy with emphasis on 'hands-on' experience with the NIR/Raman or any spectroscopic techniques
♦ Experience with Chemometrics algorithm and method development is an advantage
♦ Experience of installing spectroscopic instruments at customer sites, would be beneficial
♦ Good understanding of the common electro-analytical techniques like Differential Pulse Voltammetry, Cyclic Voltammetry, and Impedance Measurements and can describe what's going on during a common electrochemical measurement. Understanding how changing a method can affect the results, is also crucial.
♦ Experience with method and applications or products development related to electrochemistry or using potentiostats/galvanostats within an industrial / commercial laboratory.
♦ Able to describe the applied signal by a potentiostat and understands the response of the electrochemical cell in terms of faradaic and capacitive currents
♦ Excellent communication skills
♦ Proficient computer skills
♦ Experience in product management and/or marketing or business development, would be beneficial
♦ Fluent English (spoken and written)
♦ Clean driving license type B
♦ Availability to travel within Romania and abroad
♦ A reliable, self-driven and motivated person, hardworking, responsible, with good interpersonal, organization, negotiation and presentation skills, a strong team player, willing to learn and flexible, experienced in sales and/or applications

♦ Proficiency in the area of spectroscopy (NIR/Raman) and secondary in the area of electrochemistry and all other areas of the Company's product portfolio, namely Ion Chromatography, Karl Fischer, Titration, Voltammetry
♦ Draws quotations and provides specialized assistance and support to company's customers
♦ Visiting clients and ensure the quality of services provided
♦ Develop a network of clients
♦ Negotiating contracts into competence limits decided by the management
♦ Attending to trade-fairs, workshops where the Company participate
♦ Monitor the presence and activity of competitors and propose measures to improve the company's image
♦ Prepare and submit reports on his activity to the company's management
♦ Generation of Metrohm-format analytical reports recording experimental analysis
♦ Provide pre/post sales applications support such as product presentations, demonstration, system configuration; applications optimization; troubleshooting
♦ Liaise directly with field based sales, service and technical personnel
♦ Install Metrohm instrumentation at customer sites and provide associated training; entailing prolonged
♦ Travel and potential overnight stays away from home. (Such duties will only be performed upon completion of relevant training)
♦ Supporting customer demonstrations via the preparation and timely transportation of instrumentation
♦ Assist in the daily running of the Applications Laboratory, for example, monitoring consumable stock levels and equipment locations, ensuring that the environment is kept clean and tidy at all times etc.
