Cerinte

Mandatory skills:
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Experience in Windows 2003/2008 servers in a heterogeneous Linux/Unix environment
• Experience setting up automated management tools and scripts
• Experience in complex server configuration and support
• MCSA/MCSE/ MCITP desired
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Understanding of Change Management frameworks such as ITIL
• Proven experience in management of Windows 2003/2008 Server environments. Active Directory (domain and stand alone systems), IIS and MS SQL Server 2000/2005 administration are must-have skills
• Experience setting up automated management tools and scripts
• Familiarity with RAID disk technologies
• Familiarity with network infrastructure
• Liaise with vendors and professional services
• Knowledge of Server Applications
• An understanding of patch management software
• Familiarity with Backup software and strategies
• Knowledge and understanding of network applications, web servers, email servers, firewalls, databases, file shares and print servers
• Experience in Security in a Windows / Linux environment

Nice to have skills:
• Management infrastructure tools (NAGIOS, OpenView etc)
• Linux Redhat / Unix
• Cisco Firewalls, switches and routers
• NFS / NAS / DAS
• VMWare ESX management and configuration

Responsabilitati

Job Description:
• Provide 24/7 Microsoft Windows Server operating system support
• Monitor server performance and availability
• Ensure Windows server availability compliance to Service Level Agreements
• Address operational systems issues including file and share permissions, user accounts and installing applications
• Promote and maintain server patch management practices
• Provide metrics for capacity management purposes
• Monitor server load and implement load balancing where appropriate
• Support and maintain Active Directory & IIS
• Knowledge and support of Group policy
• Provide Windows Exchange Email Server Support
• Upgrade and replace server hardware where appropriate
