We are looking for a Swedish Payroll Specialist for our HR Shared Services Organization, facility based in Cluj, Romania
Your Role
Provide support for resolving payroll specific queries within defined SLAs, escalating to T3 Payroll Specialist as required
Contact person to maintain and enhance existing 3rd party interfaces i.e. 3rd party benefits providers, social security agencies etc.
Validate payroll results for the defined employee groups/union contract region
Provide coaching for HR Team colleagues on payroll related issues
Ensure personal knowledge of payroll specific information is maintained and shared across team
Assist in delivery of discrete Swedish payroll related processes throughout the year (i.e. year end salary change, bonus, year end reconciliations, etc.)
Proactively identify processing issues and areas for process improvement.
Propose and implement solutions to address issues or areas for improvement.
Support T3 Payroll Specialist in liaison with the 3rd party payroll provider on issues with and enhancements to the payroll solution
Customer Service
Develop an effective working relationship with client group and related departments across the business to ensure a streamlined service is provided to the customer
Maintain relationships with business stakeholders in payroll processes (e.g. Finance/GL)
Continually look at ways of improving process and procedures within the function to improve the level of support provided to the customer
Provide a professional and friendly service at all times
Provide a timely and effective administration support service as required
Compliance
Assist T3 Payroll Specialist in ensuring all payroll related processes are compliant with Swedish tax and social security legislation.
Assist T3 Payroll Specialist in ensuring all payroll related processes are compliant with relevant internal and external audit requirements
Assist T3 Payroll Specialist in ensuring payroll related processes correctly represent company policy and are compliant with appropriate legislation ie. Maternity, PHI etc
Teamwork
Work with less experienced colleagues, providing support and guidance.
Assist T3 Payroll Specialist in ensuring that all members of the Payroll/HR Team are kept up to date with process changes/information necessary to the undertaking of the role
Work effectively and efficiently with colleagues sharing information and tasks in order to achieve targets
Suggest and follow through on process improvements
Provide support for project activities as required
Assist in the preparation of Swedish payroll data reports and KPIs
Take ownership for personal development and understanding of team activities
