Requirements

Studies: Bachelor degree or Master degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Qualifications and skills:
- 2+ years of experience developing applications in C# and/or C++ with MFC(minimum 1 year of proven working experience in C#)
- Experience with .NET4, WPF and web services development are considered assets
- Experience in developing systems using SQL compliant databases
- Strong background in applying formal development methodologies, including knowledge of use cases, requirement analysis, UML
- XML technology knowledge is an asset, XSL, XPath, XQuery, DTD, XML Schema;
- Strong communication skills in English (French is an asset)
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong team player
- Make-it-work attitude under firm deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure
- Willing to travel abroad twice a year

Responsibilities

- Writing design documents and functional specifications (use cases and GUI design documents, at least)
- Participating in design and code reviews
- Developing and unit testing new software
- Debugging and fixing bugs during stabilization of the software
- Installation and configuration of system components (hardware and software) - might include travel
- Training operators of the system during the initial deployment of the system
- Supporting the system post deployment
