Cerinte

* B.S (Computer Science) or equivalent preferred. Other qualifications with adequate experience may be considered.
* Java and/or Datawarehousing experience.
* Experience in monitoring, reading log files and tuning.
* Basic knowledge and some experience with Business Analytics.
* Well-developed troubleshooting skills, ability to analyze details and synthesize "big picture", frequently working with incomplete or ambiguous data.
* XML: skilled in reading/writing/validating and processing reasonably complex XML documents. Familiarity with DTD's, Namespaces, XML Schemas, XPath and XSLT.
* Basic experience with HTTP and J2EE webservers.
* Familiarity with the SOA development paradigm and arranging/assembling discrete web services into more complex business flows.
* Knowledge of SQL queries.
* Basic Unix skills.
* Basic Windows skills.
* Good communication skills. Able to communicate very well both technically and functionally.
* Good organizational skills.
* Ability to persevere in the face of obstacles and ensure customer’s success/
* Self starter, works well unsupervised or with limited supervision.
* Detail Oriented.
* Process orientation preferred.

Need to be able to travel for durations up to a couple of weeks at short notice.

Responsabilitati

* Apply considerable support/development/implementation experience, a deep understanding of the underlying technologies, knowledge of business processes and support processes to interact with a broad spectrum of people within both Oracle and the customer(s) encountering issues during beta and production phases.
* Influence product design by providing feedback to development, as the Support Engineer is considered an expert in the technical and functional areas, implementation strategies, setup, installation, configuration, and integration technologies.
* Master complex technical and functional areas.
* Suggest and/or create diagnostics and troubleshooting tools for the larger organization.
* Help to define/refine the future support processes and to prepare the larger support team for the big release.
* Coach, mentor and train your peers in other organizations, interact frequently with senior management in the support and development chain and prepare and present to large and small groups on technical and functional topics.
