HP GeBOC (Global e-Business Operations Center) is the shared services and business process outsourcing (BPO) centre of HP in Romania. Opened in 2005 and having over 3.100 employees, HP GeBOC is the largest shared services centre in the country and offers high quality, value and cost effective remote processing services to HP customers and partners in Europe, Middle East and Africa for a wide range of financial, logistic, and administrative business processes. Requirements
Education and Experience Required
• University graduate;
• Fluent in English and French/Italian/German (written and spoken);
• Around 3 years of experience in customer facing activities (supply chain, customer service, procurement, financial management).;
• Around 1 year in a people management role.
Knowledge and Skills Required
• Excellent communication skills (e.g. written, verbal, presentation);
• Extensive knowledge of internal processes and policies.
• Excellent understanding of local legal compliance issues.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Solid project management skills.
• Solid mentoring and coaching skills.
• Basic knowledge of operating systems software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
Responsibilities
Job Tasks
Supervises small teams and manages day-to-day tactical duties.
Responsible for hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and development; ensures that the proper tools are in place to support the team and the processes.
• Manages order management process by supporting the day-to-day tactical actions (processing of orders, credits and returns and making suggestions for existing process refinement)
• Acts as a central point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders, communicating clearly and succinctly with external customers at the peer level (holds periodic calls with customers to maintain relationship).
• Resolves escalated customer issues (distribution, pricing) and internal issues (product builds) of high complexity and proactively follows-up on highest complexity issues to resolve them with some guidance.
Job Profile
The Supervisor is the first line management and directly manage a team of individual contributors.
He /She need to be a role model for the team and have the ability to act within an environment where there is a lot of time pressure and customer orientation. This implies a high level of leadership, results-orientation, drive and resilience, thoroughness, timely working habits, flexibility, teamwork and independence.
