Productivity Purchasing Trainee

Valeo Timisoara is part of the Visibility Systems and began lighting production in September 2005, growing annually, with about 1500 employees today. Production is divided into three units: Original Equipment (OEM), Aftermarket - Service Market (AFM) and Special Products (SP).

In our manufacturing plant, we produce front and rear lighting systems that work with the latest technology and use complex injection, coating, varnishing, metallization and assembly processes.

Graduate in Economic or Technical field;
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office;
Advanced level of English (spoken written);
Good communication skills and team player;
Problem solving skills.

Support for savings implementation and daily purchasing activities(to productivity and project buyers);
ERP Data maintenance;
Daily purchasing index and reports calculations and analysis;
Prepare market analysis and prospect for new suppliers (benchmarking);
Fill in the suppliers database and manage it (PuMa, SAP and SRM tools);
Launch RFQs (quote requests);
Manage the relation with the suppliers, send them purchasing orders and contracts;
Prepare presentations, situations, specific to the purchasing activity;
Projects follow up for final parts validation (SRM tool) in direct relationshipwith SQA Department;
Daily weekly meetings with Projects involved Departments for projects validation follow up (PuMa SRM);
PuMa data maintenance from BOM introduction until SOP and data migration to SRM and SAP;
PuMa SAP SRM - training on the job;
Participate in improving work activities through Improvement Proposals (PI).
