Essential Experience
Confirmed support experience in an IT environment
Strong technical and analytical troubleshooting skills
Communication skills in international environment;
Fluency in English; 2nd language competency in German is mandatory;

Technical skills:

Depending on your level of seniority at least two of following criteria are mandatory:
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML and XSL, scripting with VBScript/JavaScript
Web servers knowledge: IIS6/7 (architecture, configuration)
Networking knowledge: protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP), infrastructure
Operating systems: Windows Server 2003, 2008; Windows XP, Vista, 7 (NLB, DNS, networking protocols, domain infrastructure)

Also are considered a plus:
Previous experience with Microsoft SharePoint Server products (2003 / 2007 / 2010)
Previous experience with Microsoft SQL Server products (2000 / 2005 / 2008): programming on SQL, configuration and administration
Programming skills: C#; ASP.NET

Responsibilities

The Global Technical Support Centre (GTSC) located in Timisoara, provides high technical service and 3rd and 4th level support for Microsoft’s European Enterprise and Development customers. The center is part of Microsoft Global Support Operations and is an extension of the Bucharest Site, staffed by highly skilled technical specialists in enterprise Platforms, Business and Developer Applications.

We are currently looking for a Technical Engineer- MS SharePoint Portal Server located in Bucharest. The centre will provide advanced technical services and support for Microsoft’s customers across Europe.

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Timisoara/ Bucharest
Contract: Outsourced Employment Contract

JOB PROFILE

Using broad and in-depth product knowledge provide and facilitate the responsive delivery of technical solutions and information to major customers;
Provide solutions to complex problems that satisfy our German/ French/Italian speaking customer base. This involves dealing with difficult situations including complaint handling, sensitive customers and mission critical support;
Build customer and partner loyalty through customer orientation, responsiveness and accountability;
Work in an international environment and collaborate with your team to provide high-level support;
