Senior Interfaces Developer (Java and Websphere)

As a provider of internal IT services for METRO GROUP, METRO SYSTEMS Romania provides specialized consulting to retail companies in all aspects of IT, develops specific solutions along the full value chain and provides a powerful IT infrastructure with a team of over 900 IT professionals.

- Good knowledge of Java SDK 5.0, JBoss, JUnit
- EAI concepts, IBM Websphere MQ (MQSeries), XML, XSLT, ORACLE RDBMS 9 or higher
- Advanced knowledge of Windows NT, 2000, XP, Office products
- Basic concepts of UNIX / AIX
- Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Good knowledge of English
Nice to have:
- IBM ESQL, IBM Websphere Message Broker experience.

As an interface developer at MGI you will work on designs, development and maintenance of solutions that perform the integration of head office and store systems (customer, article and check-out).
The solutions are based on Java & IBM Websphere Message Broker technologies.
You may also be required to design, develop and/or re-engineer highly complex application components, and integrate software packages, programs and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms.
The position needs you have strong communication skills and be a team player in addition to being a technical expert.
