Organization: Global Procurement, Global Data Center and Telecom Procurement


Global Procurement is seeking a Temporary Strategic Buyer for EMEA & APAC Wireline Telecommunication Team.

Department Description:

The Global Data Center and Telecom Procurement Team delivers sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation services to optimize spend and mitigate risk for Oracle. Also, the Global Data Center and Telecom Procurement Team manages regional and global programs that are designed to support Oracle wireline, wireless, audio /video conferencing, remote access services, cabling and data centers. This is done in close collaboration with Oracle’s IT organizations. The team is managing about $465 M in annual spend.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Junior position, to assist processing Purchase Requisitions, Service Orders, reporting; contract discussions, and Supplier Relationship Management, under the daily supervision of a permanent Strategic Buyer employee.


QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (German language competency is a plus)
• Proven ability to work in a team
• Confident, self-motivated, and driven to deliver business results
• Have strong organizational skills and be comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-driven environment
• Analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills

The contract will be for a determined period, 6 months via Adecco.
