In 2006 opened the HP Bucharest-based operations center - Global E-Business Operation Centre. The Bucharest centre aim was to to provide high-value and cost-effective remote processing services to customers in the EMEA-region (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Presently, we are one of the largest employers in Romania with almost 1500 specialists with multi-lingual capabilities to support financial and administrative business processes for partners and customers in the region.

Education and Experience Required
- First-level university degree or equivalent experience, preferably with a degree in Economics, Finance, engineering or Information Technology/Services (or equivalent combination education or experience). ; may have advanced university degree.
- Typically 8+ years of experience in a business related function, preferably sales, finance, banking, or IT, preferably with 4 or more years working experience in process design and optimization, as well as assets and business process operations.
- Typically +2 years of people management experience.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Advanced communication skills (e.g. written, verbal, presentation) to develop relationships across businesses. Mastery in English (Interaction with WW teams, Indian teams and EMEA teams) and local language as well as other languages as required (Close-to-native speaker in one or more of the following languages: Arabic, English, French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish is a real plus).
- Strong analytical skills with respect to performance metrics; ability to know when and where to make adjustments to improve or maintain metrics.
- Good understanding of HP's operations outside own business.
- Strong financial and business acumen; general industry knowledge.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, including goal-setting, conflict resolution, performance management, budget planning, problem solving, evaluation and employee engagement.
- Strong project management and communication skills, with ability to build and maintain strong internal/external relationship.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proven and extensive MS Access, MS Excel, Business Objects and share point management knowledge: share point designer.
- Proven Data mining, Data warehouses, OLAP Cube experience.

- Excellent communication skills, with ability to build and maintain strong internal/external relationships.

HP's Europe-Middle-East-Africa (EMEA) channel Partner Sales Support group is now seeking a high caliber individual with proven sales operations skills for the position of Manager of the team of Channel Data Collection Operations and Project Specialists. The goal of the partner sales support group is to provide channel partners with added value and cost competitive sales & marketing information services that contribute to channel revenues growth and profit.
Main Responsibilities:
You job will consist of managing a team of individuals along the following lines:
- Manages a distinct team of exempt individual contributors that support a complex business segment.
- Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in the design.
- Responsible for setting and monitoring annual performance plans, coaching, and career development; ensures that the proper tools are in place to support the team and the processes.
- Meets with business leaders to understand and discuss trajectory of the business.
- Networks with other groups to share knowledge and drive own team's interests.
- Develops action plans to address roadblocks or issues affecting team.
- Supports a subset of business in a large country, or entire business in a small country.
- Has some contact with executive teams across multiple regions in a specialty
You will also have to actively coach, assist and grow your team members through a hands-on approach on Channel Data collection job aspects, who are in charge of developing, deploying, operating and maintaining operational channel data collection assets and processes. More specifically, their job consists of a combination of the following 4 key responsibilities:
Operate Data management Processes:
- Define and implement operational performance metrics as appropriate
- Define, Produce and communicate data quality reports as necessary
- Define and review support model involving different teams (1st Line, 2nd Line, Pillars and domains)
- Monitor operational performance metrics of the process
- Manage issue detection and resolution; Act as point of escalation for issues on tools, data quality, failing processes by business communities (BU/finance/top management). Lead escalations/investigation on most critical issues
- Define and Manage proactive communication to users (incident, maintenance, application evolution…)
- Propose and implement process improvements
- Manage training of users; Bring ad-hoc support to key users
- Plan and follow-up process related activities
- Ensure compliance of processes vs. compliance requirement (SOX, SOV, Internal audit, documentation, etc…). Manage interactions with audit teams as required
Operate Data Collection Front-end Processes:
- Owner of the regional Sellout/Sellto data collection process, including pan-EU partners as appropriate
- Set up and deployment of Sellout/Sellto (with support of country management and PBMs/WAMs/RAMs to obtain sellout/sellto information from local wholesalers/resellers)
- Check the quality and timeliness of the files sent by wholesalers/resellers in coordination with GBS
- Follow up with partners not complying with reporting quality requirements. Work out reporting quality issues with the wholesalers/resellers. Drive resolution of issues with support of country management and PBM/WAMs
- Escalate collection and/or quality issues to local management and European partner sales support team
- Consult and support local reporting needs without owning or performing business reporting
- Ensure that information is handled according to HP's Standard of Business Conduct's handling of sensitive information, and according to Compliance and Audit requirements
Project Manage Evolutions of Processes/Tools/Infrastructure:
- Assess/gather business needs from users centrally and locally
- Drive analysis and implementation evolutions projects to provide a both performing
- Manage Tool deployment /manage new version projects ("releases"): business requirements, specifications, planning, UAT, communication & training, certification and complete infrastructure
- Advise Project Manager on requirements for future projects
Project Manage Off-shoring of Data Management Processes:
- Translate as-is Data Management Processes into executable tasks
- Define To-Be process design with appropriate stakeholders in the new off-shored set-up
- Define appropriate trainings and process documentation
- Plan and run activities for transfer until a stable production environment is achieved
- Provides regular progress updates to Transition/Transformation managers
- Define process metrics and SLA for off-shored Data Management Processes to ensure control of process execution
- Drive process improvement as necessary
