In 2006 opened the HP Bucharest-based operations center - Global E-Business Operation Centre. The Bucharest centre aim was to to provide high-value and cost-effective remote processing services to customers in the EMEA-region (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Presently, we are one of the largest employers in Romania with almost 1500 specialists with multi-lingual capabilities to support financial and administrative business processes for partners and customers in the region.

Cerinte

- Post-secondary education in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field of studies.
- Experience and knowledge includes SAP R/3 basis administration including system installations, upgrades, system migrations, back-up/recovery, performance tuning, system monitoring.
- SAP Certified technology consultants advantage.
- Thorough understanding of system operating environments and database management including UNIX, NT, TCP/IP and ORACLE.
- Experience in UNIX and ORACLE system administration, Windows knowledge advantageous
- Additional DB administration knowledge in SAPDB, MSSQL or DB2 advantageous
- Good understanding and knowledge of one or several of the following: R/3, BW, SCM, Live Cache, CRM, SRM, XI, Enterprise Portal
- Excellent analytical problem solving skills
- Experience formulating overall strategies and operational solution design, strategic and tactical planning process.
- Strong consulting skills
- Fluent in English
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Deep understanding of business environment and IT, processes, organization, implications of changes
- Leadership qualities: integrity, attention to detail, service oriented, goal oriented
- Leading and coaching working groups and teams in a multi-cultural environment, ability to communicate with all levels within HP and customer organizations
- Ability to work in the team

Responsabilitati

- Manage customer environments and act as the main technical interface to one of our trade customers
- Provide technical support and leadership in a complex mission critical SAP environment.
- Provide SAP and Oracle expertise on the customer engagement team. Provide mission critical SAP consulting and support services.
- Manage/consult on the architecture and design of hardware and software within the client’s environment.
- Provide solution options and participate in high availability designs.
- Work with other domains to establish implementation plans for changes, projects, implementations, backup and recovery.
- Ensure components supported are maintained, optimized and used effectively.
- Participate in full cycle development, deployment to go-live.
- Develop, implement and ensure compliance of technology standards and solutions.
- Participate in regular account review sessions with the customer and account service team.
- Field customer requirements and map them into specifications.
- Forecast technology requirements based on clients needs.

• This position is based in Slovakia - Bratislava, relocation on your own costs will be needed
- Start date – will be agreed
- Contract permanent with 3 months of probation period
- Full time position
- Working time: standard office hours, no shifts, however regular standby will be expected
- Salary offered: will be agreed based on candidate`s experience
